Young & Fresh (Years 1–3): The wine is bright and deeply ruby-colored. It is highly aromatic, bursting with intense violet and orange blossom floral bouquets, blackberry, and bergamot citrus notes, with a firm, youthfully tight structure.
At its Peak (Years 4–6): The robust Touriga Nacional tannins begin to smooth out completely into a velvety texture. The fresh floral attributes take a backseat as rich secondary flavors of plum pudding, mocha, and light vanilla spice from its 12 months in French oak come to the forefront.
