Pacheca Moscatel do Douro is obtained from a careful selection of the best Moscatel do Douro grapes from a small parcel of Quinta da Pacheca. These are then slowly fermented at low temperature (16-18 ° C) until the fermentation is stopped by the addition of brandy. It aged in old chestnut casks, very much in the style of an old Port wine, presenting a blondish color.
