The Andreza Grande Reserva red, is a true blend of Douro in the traditional style, with grapes originating from the three sub-regions and from old vines with various grape varieties planted in a field blend.

Galitos revisits the figure of the legendry cockerel, who recently became famous in Barcelos, but has always been an important image in Portuguese culture. This figure embodies the memory of an extremely ancient cult, possibly of Celtic origin. The cockerel is the animal that announces the daybreak and sunrise, portraying the victory of light over the night and darkness. Thus, the cockerel symbolises goodness and as a protective figure, decorates church weathervanes, as gargoyles did in medieval times, protecting the north facing doors, on the shadier side.

Intense ruby colour. Wine with an intense and complex aroma, marked by mentholated notes of red fruits and black pepper, with some floral presence. In the mouth it is a wine with much flavour and volume. The presence of firm and striking tannins gives the wine a long and persistent finish with excellent acidity.

Borges Touriga-Nacional is a wine of exceptional quality, produced with grapes from one of Portugal’s most noble varietals. The wine is aged in French Oak barrels for 12 months.
