Made with the white grape Síria, which has a floral touch as one of its most striking characteristics, this wine is signed by Luís Leocádio, who won the title of winemaker revelation 2018, from the renowned Revista de Vinhos, from Portugal.
It is a very balanced and elegant wine. It has, as is typical of the variety, an exuberant aroma with notes of citrus and linden flowers and honey. The mouth is “spiced” by acidity and minerality, ensuring a delicious freshness.

Sauvignon blanc is, probably one of the most planted and appreciated grapes varieties of the world. On the Specific "Terroir" of Quinta do Ortigão, great responsible of planting in Portugal, the grapes results in a fruity and distinctive wine in the nose, full of harmony and elegance in the mouth with a fresh and persistent finish.
In the fields of Campo Maior, the vines grow, giving rise to wines with a fresh and showy character. It was in this undulating back of Alentejo where Arch. Siza Vieira brought the unmistakable trace of this winery. So the landscape is designed, so the wines that make this Adega Mayor are designed. Removed without crushing, fermentation in stainless steel deposits at 25ºC and daily return. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels, where the wine remained for 18 months. Aged for 12 months in bottle before going to the market.
Handpicked grapes. Primary treatment by natural sedimentation. Temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. One month full yeast contact.
