It was made in traditional open stone tanks “lagares” and trodden by foot and had a stage 3 months in French oak barrels, with Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Francesa and Tinta Barroca.

It was done in stainless steel vats with temperature control of fermentation, with grape Malvasia Fina, Cerceal, Gouveio and Moscatel

King’s cake is a traditional Christmas dessert that can be found in any bakery or pastry shops in Portugal, and it’s commonly eaten between Christmas and the Kings Day on 6th of January. "Bolo Rei" King's Cake, has a long history and its shape and golden dough represent the gift of gold brought by the Magi as a gift for the Baby Jesus. The sweet, spicy aromas symbolise the frankincense while the bright crystallised fruit on top of the cake are the myrrh.
